To Join All Around

You can participate in our program without becoming a member of All Around. We call anyone who goes through the Life Pact Process a participant. We define "member" as anyone who pays annual dues.

What Participation Involves

The following decisions and actions create quality participation. You are welcome to make any intelligent adjustment in these standards to both fulfill the spirit of the program and be true to yourself. We encourage you to do your level best, but that's something that only you can define.

You are actively interested in bettering yourself and the world.
You are willing to take the attitude of a good surgeon. This means that you aren't satisfied with any good deed, but instead strive to learn and perform the best, most loving actions. It also means that you are willing to learn to do more good.
You are willing to create a "Life Pact." This is a set of goals and plans for a period of about one to four months. (See the "Starting Our Program" section on the Resources page.)
You are willing to commit 3-5 hours a week for the duration of the Life Pact.
You are willing to establish some form of ongoing personal support for the length of your Life Pact.
You are willing to review your Life Pact at the end to celebrate your successes and learn from your failures.
If you can afford it, you become a member by paying a membership.

To Become an All Around Participant

Participants who register in this online form will receive an email reminder two weeks before the end of their Life Pact. They will also receive a thank you at the end of their Life Pacts.

Use the free tools that are part of the Starting our Program steps. These steps will guide you to developing goals and plans that will become part of your Life Pact.

Membership and Benefits

A full year's contributing membership is $25; students and low income members (incomes of less than $10,000) only pay $10 per year. Fees help us further develop the program and extend it to more people.

As a contributing member you receive the following benefits:

You have access to a wide variety of useful materials (for personal growth, skill-building and helping others.)
You have access to program staff for questions and assistance.
You are able to use the All Around Support Buddy Network by posting a query with optional personal information about yourself.
You have the option to be part of our online community by creating a member profile and by communicating with other All Around members.
You will be able to participate in All Around's online discussion groups and discussion boards.
You will have the satisfaction of knowing that your donation has become part of are helping the program to be extended to others.
As small groups or large groups form in different locations, we will email announcements and updates to you.
You will receive the quarterly e-letter updating you on what our members are doing and what is new on the web site.

To Become a Member

Normally those wishing to be members are already participants. If you have registered your Life Pact above, you were emailed a participant I.D. number upon completing the process. Please retrieve that ID. (If you can't locate it, email us.) Next, you have the choice of becoming a member by mail or online:

To become a member by mail, make a check or money order for $25 (or $10 for low income) payable to World Peace One and send it, your name, and your I.D. number to World Peace One, 5135 Dearborn St., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
