For every thousand hacking at the leaves of evil, there is one striking at the root.

Two Important Cartoons
These two cartoons capture some
of the strategy of this approach to changing the world. The
first is about the power of one individual to create
one-sixth-billionth of the solution. Never doubt that your efforts
can add up. (But to be most effective and
to keep from being counterproductive, you need to learn how
to be strategic and how to avoid wasting effort.
That is what All Around is designed to do—not
just promote action but promote the best, most loving
actions.)

By the way, we would like to know
the creator of the above cartoon so that we could formally secure
permission to use it.
The second cartoon "This Way to
Peace" contrasts a choice between practical learning and
impractical learning and amusement. It's not true that
discussions, lectures, books and tapes are worthless, of
course. It has to do with your mindset: Are you just
dabbling in ideas, or do you want to cause real healing and
change? (For an expanded view of this cartoon, click here.)
