Ways to Use This Site
Since All Around is a multipurpose program,
we encourage you to read this list of ways to use the site. Then we encourage you to choose whichever way is the best, most loving
use of your time. We also hope you grow in your use of the site.
- Entertainment or Reflection We have stories that are either amusing or insightful, or both.
- Personal Assessment On the Resources page, there are four assessment tools: The Lifestyle Review, the Helping Inventory, the Ecological
Lifestyle Assessment and the Well Analogy.
- An Integrated Lifestyle Change Program The Life Pact Program step-by-step helps you create the goals, plans and support
to succeed. We consider the Life Pact Program the best, most integrated and most powerful way to use the All Around site. You can use the Life Pact process to integrate many of the following tools, too.
- A Goal-Attainment Program On the Resources Page, you can find forms for setting
goals and making plans.
- For Building Skills There are a variety of skill-building materials in the Members section. Active Listening, Assertiveness,
Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving are popular examples.
- To Find a Support Person or Group We believe that ongoing personal support is essential for ongoing improvement, growth and
success. That's why we recommend the Buddy System (See Resources) and why we have a Buddy Matching Program and Member Search Page for members.
We also have small
group formats like the Goal & Growth Group, and even large group formats like Climb Today's Mountain and Mission Ball.
- Personal Mission, Personal Growth
or Spiritual Growth What is your central purpose or mission in life? What is the best, most loving use of
your time? Members can use Path Management, Life Mission and Process Statements and other resources, but all can access the Well Analogy which can
be found on the Resources Page.
- An Integrated Program of ... Personal goal-attainment, finding and living your personal mission, empowering others, and doing your
part for our mutual life-support systems. We call this the CLEAR method. It's part of the Life Pact Program.
- A Community of People Interested in Goodness We invite you to become a member and be part of a community of people who:
- ASK each other to do more good.
- TEACH each other how to do more good.
- SUPPORT each other to do more good.
- A Curriculum for Ethical Living Members can use our Discussion & Action Format and one of three curriculums
for ethical living to use in schools or worship communities. Or they can
design their own curriculm from a variety of original parables, stories, assessments and thought-pieces. Some of these materials are philosophical, but most are practical.
- Resources to Help Others Once you become familiar with the great range of materials and methods, you become a resource person. You can
use them as resources to help others learn and grow.
- A Training in World Surgery Surgeons save lives, reduce suffering and restore normal function. They often take eight or
more years to learn this. We present several Upgrades for Humanity and we can teach you how begin to use them to save lives in
four months or less. But the full training requires the creation of a learning environment with support, feedback, and upgraded methods.
